Black Magic Miniature Soaps - Natural, Vegan, 3x 10g - Handcrafted
These are the first of my 2020 Halloween soap line, to celebrate the weird and the wonderful part of autumn. Don't let the small size fool you, the musky and spicy fragrance of these guys when used packs a punch and leaves you feeling warm and toasty. Its small size makes it perfect to be used as a travelling soap, for children or as guest soaps.
Each 30g pack contains 3 individually packaged cats with 70p of each sale going towards the fantastic people at Cats Protection to not only thank them for all they do to celebrate our black cats, aka house panthers, and to dispel the unfair myths that surround them but to help them afford food and veterinary treatment for all of the centre's occupants.
The bars are made up of coconut oil, glycerin, activated charcoal for natural colouring and sweet orange oil with a special selection of fragrances that always reminds me of something supernatural.
Activated charcoal is a charcoal that has been heated to unimaginable temperatures and combined with gases to create a powder that can trap toxins and bacteria, almost like a magnet would trap metals. It’s these purposes that can aid many different types of skin. When you have oily skin, it means you’re likely to be prone to bursts of acne because your cells are producing too much sebum. Activated charcoal can help to remove this excess oil, which in turn will reduce the breakout of blackheads and means tit can stop new breakouts from happening. People with sensitive skin often have eczema or rosacea which is incredibly debilitating, sore and irritated which means you have to be incredibly careful about what you use on your skin to prevent more irritation occurring. In theory, charcoal is perfect for sensitive skin, because its natural and gentle. But if you haven’t used any products with activated charcoal in before always do a patch test as you would any new product.
Glycerin is well known as an emollient and may create a barrier to help your skin retain moisture, easing dry and flaky ski and can help the skin to remain soft and supple. Coconut oil has been known to reduce inflammation and contains medium-chain fatty acids, which possess antimicrobial properties which have been rumoured, like activated charcoal, to soothe acne.
Sweet orange oil is rumoured to promote cell growth and collagen synthesis, which helps to keep your skin supple and soft. It has the possibility of aiding acne-prone skin as it helps to control excess skin oil and contains antibacterial properties, stopping bacterial infections taking hold.
