Natural Honey and Oats Honeycomb Soap 110g - Handcrafted

This silky and luxurious bar is SLS/SLES/Paraben Fred and gives you two bars of soap in one. The top layer created to look as inviting as the fresh honey used in the creation, with the bottom made up of oatmeal and goats milk.

Each bar of soap is approximately 110g and contains Scottish rolled oats, local East Sussex honey fresh from the hive and a goat milk and glycerin soap base. All ingredients added are natural and are suitable for those of us with dry and sensitive skin. This started as a way for me to find a bar of soap that did not exacerbate my own Eczema and I’ve never looked back. All of my bars of soap are made with love and determination by own two hands to help you keep yours soft.

Goat milk naturally contains alpha-hydroxy and caprylic acids, which helps to weaken and remove damaged skin and makes way for fresh and healthy new skin without removing any natural fatty acids with it. Oats are a natural exfoliator and work similarly, the rougher surface within the bar helps to remove flaky skin whilst soothing irritated skin at the same time. All three ingredients are an emollient, thought to draw and lock moisture into your skin and making it gentle for anyone with skin conditions such as Eczema or Psoriasis and prevents your hands drying out. Goat milk acts as a balancer, as well as having the potential to lock moisture into your skin, it will also dry out any conditions caused by excessive moisture such as acne. Honey is considered to contain natural antioxidants and antibacterial properties and lessens the risk of any bacterial infections setting into broken skin that many skin disorders can cause.

The addition of glycerin is ideal for those that wash their hands frequently as it naturally has a low pH which enhances the emollient properties of honey and goat milk and means the skin is able to retain its natural moisture throughout your day to day life.
